Repeat Prescriptionsblue_yellow

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.

Requests for prescriptions can only be made by:

  • calling at the surgery in person
  • Online via the link at the top of this page (you will need to register with the surgery for this service)
  • by post

  • through a pharmacy. Patients should make arrangements with a pharmacy of their choice should they wish their prescriptions to be collected and/or delivered before they submit their repeat prescription requests.

We are unable to take telephone requests or to take orders or issue repeats at weekends, public holidays or outside opening hours.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

72 hours   Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
